  Good evening, this is Eric Bryce, reporting live for ECAN. Today marks the day of a great defeat for European Continental Army forces. Berlin has fallen. After a sixty two hour battle, the city's defenders could no longer hold the Federation invasion forces back and were eventually defeated. We will soon be publishing a list with the names of all the brave men and women that died in this bloody battle. ECA casualties are estimated to be over five thousand and as many as sixty soldiers and officers were made prisoners by the Russian Federation.  Civilian casualties are at a minimum, due to the fact the city of Berlin had already been evacuated over a week ago. The pockets of ECA forces in Germany are staging a massive withdraw from the country as they prepare for “a major counter attack”. The European Continental Army is forming a new defense line at the French border hoping that this time they will stop the Russian invaders' advance once and for all.  It appears we have new footage from Berlin taken from a Russian broadcast. *Static* Comrades, countrymen and members of the Federation. We have fought a long and hard battle. You have bled for the motherland, you have put your very life on the line as insurance of a great future for our children and families. The European cowards, they now mourn their dead. The city they so stubbornly defended now lies in ruin. They now tremble before our might. They can hide in their precious bunkers and trenches but they only delay the inevitable. This battle is far from over. However, we will never rest, because it is our undying resolve that pushes us further. We will not stop, because we are instruments of vengeance. Gentlemen, compatriots, can you not see it? We are the red tide that will sweep across this continent. We were once mocked, betrayed by the same enemy that we now fight. Is this not a fitting punishment? They will never sleep again. They will always remember the sound of the rolling thunder of our armor and of our war boots marching. Brave soldiers, heroes of the Federation, grab your Abakan assault rifles! Cock your hammers! We have rested enough. Let us continue our advance. Let us put an end to this war! *The Russian troops cheer and some rounds are fired into the air.* This is Eric Bryce again, we are back. The footage you just saw was the Russian victory speech held before the Reichstag in Berlin. The general addressing the Russian troops is Aleksandr, who leads the Russian forces spearheading the region. This finishes our update, this has been Eric Bryce. Good night. *The camera drops on the ground as a loud explosion is heard. The studio shakes heavily. The image becomes distorted.*  *Abakan rounds are fired while people scream*. All clear! Da, mission accomplished comrade General! This station belongs to the Federation now. Pile up the corpses outside! The crew will arrive soon. Are we still live? Cut the signal now! ------ Greetings ROTR fans! This is SWR once again bringing more goodies to you. US fans will be pleased the most this time. Shall we have a look? The Ranger The Ranger is the backbone of US infantry. They have seen battle all over the globe and their performance is always superiors to the enemy, sometimes even when outnumbered. If training and preparation is what decides a battle, then the battle is won because Rangers have plenty to spare. They also always carry the latest in equipment issued by the US army, bringing the odds to their favor. Colonel Burton Colonel Burton has been involved in every major conflict of this war and lived to tell about it despite staggering odds. This man has justly earned his ‘one man army’ nickname. In appreciation to his efforts, Burton now comes armed with his OICW kit by default. Allowing him to be at his full performance from the start; wreaking havoc behind enemy lines and confusing the enemy. Colonel Burton will always been known for being the man that can get the job done. Not much is known about Colonel Burton besides the fame he earned in war. Truth be told however, as he says so himself, you wanted the best so there he stands ready to make the lives of your enemies a living hell. The Humvee After years frowning at lethal if not deadly accidents with infantry carelessly firing out the windows of the vehicle, US Army has forbidden their troops to attack the enemy this way claiming it to be unsafe and has encouraged the development of better onboard weapon systems to the Humvee. The Humvee always has been an essential part to the arsenal of American forces. The newest Humvee model is very different from its predecessors. First, its machine gun was replaced by a higher caliber model that delivers superior performance, capable of mowing down infantry and light armored vehicles with ease with the latest technology in electronic targeting thanks to its powerful on board computer system. The new model can also be fitted with a manned TOW launcher capable of reducing armored targets to mere scraps. The launcher can be easily and quickly assembled even in combat conditions with minimal set up time. The TOW launcher leaves no room for the machine gun and its electronic sensors however, only allowing generals to customize their Humvees for a single role. Defender The Defenders are arguably the finest answer against armored and airborne threats. They perform very well against both threats in fact. Their laser lock has been modified to assist other units in targeting the enemy, giving them superior rate of fire. However the Defender can no longer fire while the lock is active so that the laser always stays steady on the target. Pathfinder The Pathfinders are among the most elite snipers in the world. They can lie in wait for several days without moving and with little supplies waiting for the perfect moment to shoot or to observe the enemy. These men are famous for laying waste to dozens, hundreds of enemy infantry much longer before they can even respond. ------ Well everyone this concludes our update.  Good evening, this is Eric Bryce reporting live for ECAN. Russian submarines have begun to target European merchant ships all over the continent. Ships are being sunk within hours after leaving their ports and surprisingly the death toll has been very low. Statements from surviving crewmen included reports of Russian submarines acting in a 'very chivalric manner'. European officials have requested all European ships to remain in their ports until this new threat is dealt with. We've tried to contact the Continental Navy on the subject but no reply was given.  A massive evacuation of the populace near the eastern German border began today. Thousands are leaving their homes and belongings behind as the European defense line begins to wane before the restless Russian offensive. Hundreds of shelters are being built to house the evacuees and local aid workers have been very eager in delivering supplies. Many protests all over Europe have been breaking out recently challenging the ability of the ECA in dealing with the Russian forces.  Many citizens have begun to take matters into their own hands forming pockets of forces scattered around Europe sometimes even striking behind enemy lines. They simply call themselves 'The Resistance' and act independently from the ECA chain of command. They are characteristically recognized by their black uniforms and winter hats. These men and women have no rank and hold affiliation to no one. Stay tuned in the coming weeks as we gather more information on them.  Russian air strikes have increased in quantity lately. The few remnants of the European Continental Air Force are struggling to maintain the little pockets of air superiority they have left. Russian bombers and fighters recently are left mostly unchallenged as they strike military and civilian airports keeping the little aircraft that remain grounded. Berlin was also severely bombed today. Witnesses described severe amounts of aircraft flying over the city and then moments later a massive bombing took place in the city's industrial zone. Death tolls have been estimated in the hundreds. This concludes our evening news. This has been Eric Bryce. It's been a while since we've actually posted an update but I can assure you that we've been working behind the scenes (even though it doesn't look like it) and I'm here to prove it! Today we have a special amount of content for you, including two of our reskinned structures for the European Union as well as the awaited Russian Tesla Video! So lets get on with the update shall we? First up the EU Barracks: The training facility for the ECA Infantry. The FELIN, Panzerfaust Infantry and other soldiers are trained here. Next up, the EU War Factory: These massive facilities pump out the ECA's armored divisions, artillery and heavy equipment for their on going war effort. It is said that during Russian raids factory workers continued to work here, with greater effort, to get the job done. Now for a little extra, we'd like to show the Russian Cargo Plane: Called in by General powers, the IL76 Candid transports all Russian invasion forces across Europe or wherever it is called for duty. When you catch one of these in the sky, always look for another nearby.
